Our Mission

ESC’s Account Rep Training Program

The Energy Solutions Center is dedicated to enhancing the core competencies of energy utility marketing and sales professionals.  Our comprehensive Account Rep Training Programs are designed to elevate the skills of both seasoned and new staff. These programs are a crucial part of developing staff in areas such as customer relationship management, sales and marketing, and the application of end-use natural gas equipment and systems.

Corporate Utility Members of ESC may access Energy Industry Fundamentals, Commercial I, Commercial II, Customer Relationships and Residential training programs for no charge. These programs are available to all ESC corporate utility members 24/7 as part of membership in ESC.

Training Programs for Energy Professionals

ESC offers multiple on-line training programs. Each program contains numerous training units with course materials, video presentations, and online tests available 24/7 for ESC members. Participants receive certificates upon successful completion of unit exams.

Commercial I Track

Commerical I address the broad array of gas equipment and systems for commercial and institutional customers.

Commercial II Track

Familiarizes account reps with the primary commercial market segments.

Customer Relationships Track

Improves confidence & competence in selling natural gas products and services to end user natural gas customers.

Electric Generation Track (New)

Premium program. Subscription required. A comprehensive understanding of the electric generation industry.

Residential Track

Residential provides a detailed review of the natural gas appliances and systems found in homes.

Industrial Track

IMAC Consortium members only. Industrial increases the skills, knowledge and ability of industrial & major account reps to successfully deliver natural gas solutions.
