CA PUC reviews request to pass Caltrain electrification costs to consumers

This PUC document outlines the settlement between PG&E and Caltrain. This was related to electric system upgrades to support the conversion of diesel rail system to electric under an electrification program. Total system cost upgrade estimate is $139M and if approved $84M will be added to customer base rates to pay 60% of this cost to Caltrain.
